13-year-old Rayan Hasan suffers from a congenital deformity in the lower left leg. He needed a corrective prosthesis, including 1 carbon socket, 2 trial sockets, and 1 carbon foot top adaptor.

Thanks to generous contributions from Palmyra Relief’s supporters, Rayan has recently completed his first stage of treatment, and is already able to walk!

Rayan’s prosthetics came from Ottobock Deutschland. PalmyraRelief CIO’s partner clinic, Dogan Medikal — based in Mersin — is providing treatment. Rayan’s treatment also included all orthopaedic examinations, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and training with Dogan Medikal, as well as accommodation and meals whilst being treated.

With continued support for Palmyra Relief from generous people like you, in one to two years, Rayan will get more needed treatment to further rehabilitate and restore his leg!
